SHEPHERD CARE PARTNERS WITH 6 WHEELS CONSULTING TO PROVIDE SENSITIVITY, DISABILITY, AND RESPECT SEMINARS

Shepherd Care, a non-profit organization established by Eric Kieselbach in 2009 to care, encourage, inspire, edify, counsel and support people in the community, has established a partnership with 6 Wheels Consulting, a company that strives to educate and strengthen the public’s understanding of the culture of disability.

Founded by Matthew Shapiro, 6 Wheels Consulting’s mission is to educate people about disability culture as well as raise awareness about the issues that affect the people with disabilities population. Shapiro has been actively involved in numerous disability and youth related boards, organizations, and programs – tirelessly sharing his knowledge and experience through a variety of public speaking engagements across the country. He has also worked with the Virginia Advocates United Leading Together (VAULT), the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities, the Virginia Department of Education, just to name a few.

“6 Wheels Consulting, LLC is delighted to announce this exciting new collaboration with Shepherd Care.  Eric's mission to care for people where they live and work is the heart of community.  This new partnership will allow 6 Wheels Consulting, LLC and Shepherd Care to provide training and other services to businesses, churches, Fire, Law, and EMS Departments to expand their disability awareness and improve interactions, and foster respect and understanding of the diverse perspectives of others. We are excited to see what the future holds for both organizations, thanks to this partnership," Shapiro said.
